Featuring Makita’s efficient BL™ brushless motor, it delivers up to 4,400 RPM for smooth, fast cutting while running cooler for longer tool life. Automatic Speed Change™ technology adjusts cutting speed and torque under load to maintain optimum performance, while direct drive technology provides consistent power without belts to replace.
The saw is also equipped with Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS™) technology, enabling Bluetooth communication between the tool and an AWS-equipped dust extractor (sold separately) for wireless, cord-free dust collection. When the trigger is engaged, the dust extractor automatically powers on; when released, it powers down, improving efficiency and minimizing noise.
